A Platform Built Through Partnership, Designed for All
PlasticPath has been developed under the project “Integrated Approach towards Sustainable Plastics Use and Marine Litter Prevention in Bangladesh”, implemented by the Department of Environment (DoE) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with technical support from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and financial support from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka.
The platform is the result of extensive collaboration and consultation with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, local government institutions, industry associations, manufacturers, recyclers, waste management actors, academic and research institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, youth groups and environmental advocates.
PlasticPath has been designed as a shared national resource for all stakeholders working towards sustainable plastics management and a circular economy.
